Hi friends, just spent an epic weekend in Paris! It really was a dream, with the kids and hubby in tow we managed to crack the code on enjoying Paris as a family.
Friday night, we headed straight for Le Relais de l'EntrecôteLe Relais de l'EntrecôteAdd to Bucket ListAdd to Trip. No kids' menu here, thank goodness! The kids devoured the steak frites as we toasted our weekend adventure with the house red wine.
Saturday, we hit The LouvreThe LouvreAdd to Bucket ListAdd to Trip early. The kids loved the Egyptian Antiquities section and Phoenix, my oldest, was entranced by the Mona Lisa. Afternoon found us exploring MontmartreMontmartreAdd to Bucket ListAdd to Trip. The whole family was charmed by its cobbled streets and vibrant art scene.
For dinner, we found an absolute gem, Chez CasimirChez CasimirAdd to Bucket ListAdd to Trip, where the kids tried escargot for the first time and loved it!
Sunday, we started at the Musée d'OrsayMusée d'OrsayAdd to Bucket ListAdd to Trip, the kids loved the Van Gogh exhibit. After, we took a picnic to Jardin des TuileriesJardin des TuileriesAdd to Bucket ListAdd to Trip. The kids played while we soaked in the gorgeous views.
Post nap, we went to Le MaraisLe MaraisAdd to Bucket ListAdd to Trip. We explored the vintage shops and grabbed an early dinner at Le Comptoir du MaraisLe Comptoir du MaraisAdd to Bucket ListAdd to Trip, the ultimate spot for an authentic Parisian sandwich.
After the kids were tucked in, hubby and I hit the town thanks to BabyChou Services. A reliable babysitting agency that allowed us to enjoy La BellevilloiseLa BellevilloiseAdd to Bucket ListAdd to Trip, for some live music and dancing.
Honestly, this weekend was magical. Paris really can be a dream for families too!
