Hanoi: A Haven of Hidden Luxury and Gastronomical Delights
A luxury lover's guide to spending an indulgent and pampering 2.5 days in Hanoi, filled with exquisite food, private tours, and hidden gems.
By April Wagner
Hey there, fellow luxury seekers! I just came back from an unforgettable weekend in Hanoi with my family. We've found the perfect mix of relaxation, adventure, and -- of course -- phenomenal food. I can't wait to share our journey with you!
We started our Friday night at Bun Cha Ta, a local gem in the heart of the Old Quarter. Here, we savored the pride of Hanoi cuisine, Bun Cha, a mind-blowing combo of grilled pork, rice noodles, and herbs served with a tasty dipping sauce.
On Saturday, my husband indulged his burgeoning art fascination at the Vietnam Fine Arts Museum while I escaped to the tranquil oasis of Spa de Palace. Afterward, we regrouped for lunch at Madame Hien, a beautifully restored villa turned restaurant serving Vietnamese cuisine with a French twist.
We booked a private tour to Tran Quoc Pagoda in the afternoon, followed by a leisurely walk around the scenic Hoan Kiem Lake. Come evening, we dined at Green Tangerine, where French and Vietnamese flavors meld into something truly unique.
Sunday started with a relaxed brunch at Cafe Pho Co, offering the best panoramic views of the city. We spent the rest of the day exploring local markets and shops before wrapping up with early drinks at the chic Summit Lounge.
