Hey there fellow wanderers! This weekend we're off to Da Nang, a city of vibrant charm and warm smiles nestled in central Vietnam. Let's dive in!
Friday evening, after settling the kids at Candy House Babysitting Service, my husband and I kickstarted our adventure at Tien Sa Harbor. We were mesmerized by the resplendent sunset and tantalized by the fresh seafood at the local stalls.
Saturday morning began with a trip to the Da Nang Fresh Market where the children tried exotic fruits for breakfast. Followed by an educational and interesting visit to the Da Nang Museum. We had an early lunch at Quan Com Hue Ngon, a hidden gem that served us authentic Hue style dishes.
After a quick nap, we headed out for a hike at the Marble Mountains, a combination of exercise and exploration. In the evening, we took a stroll down the Han River Bridge, where the children were delighted to see the bridge lit up in rainbow colors.
Sunday was reserved for the spectacular Ba Na Hills. The cable car ride offered breathtaking views and the replica French village was a hit with the kids.
We wrapped up our escapade with a delightful dinner at Fatfish Da Nang - a must for all food enthusiasts. After dinner, we relished a cup of locally roasted coffee at Six on Six Cafe, a perfect end to a perfect weekend.
