Explore the hidden gems, gastronomic delights, and authentic experiences Dublin has to offer in a fun-filled 2.5 days.

By Hayley Monroe

Hello, Wanderers! Let's talk Dublin, a city that's all about friendly faces, cozy pubs, and rich history. Not to mention, some of the best food you'll ever try. Ready to become a Dublin devotee? Let's get started.

Friday night, we're kicking things off at The Vintage Kitchen. This hidden gem is all about quality Irish cuisine with a modern twist. Just remember, it's BYOB, so grab your favorite bottle en route.

Saturday morning, we start with a leisurely stroll around St. Stephen's Green, an urban oasis where Dubliners like to escape. Next, it's time for brunch at Hatch and Sons, where the soda bread sandwiches are what dreams are made of.

Post-brunch, we're visiting Trinity College to see the Book of Kells, an artifact that'll take your breath away. In the afternoon, explore the Guinness Storehouse because, well, we're in Dublin. Don't miss the Gravity Bar for the best views of the city.

Saturday night, we're dining at Chapter One, a Michelin-star restaurant that’ll make your taste buds do a jig. After dinner, let's hit The Temple Bar for some live music and a pint or two (or three).

Sunday morning, it's time for a caffeine hit at Clement and Pekoe, my all-time favorite coffee shop. We'll then head to St. Patrick’s Cathedral to marvel at its grandeur. Wrap up the trip with lunch at The Woollen Mills, an eatery offering fabulous views of the Ha'penny Bridge.

Before you ask, yes, I've got your sleeping arrangements sorted too. For trendy, try The Dean. If you're after some luxury, book The Merrion. On a budget? The Davenport is for you. The BonVoy's Shelbourne, Hyatt's Hyatt Centric The Liberties Dublin, and Hilton's Hilton Dublin Kilmainham are also great choices.

So, Wanderers, that's your weekend in Dublin sorted. Sláinte!

End of dispatch.

Was this any good?
