Hey there, fellow wanderlust-filled parents! Let me tell you about our recent 2.5-day whirlwind of a journey through the bustling, beautiful city of Bangkok.

Our Friday night kicked off with a late dinner at Soul Food MahanakornSoul Food Mahanakorn. From the moment we stepped in, the kids were wide-eyed at the colorful decor, and the food, oh the food! With choices that let us introduce the kids to Thai flavors in a kid-friendly way, this place was a winner.

Saturday morning was an early start with a quick breakfast at our hotel and a visit to the Grand PalaceGrand Palace. The kids loved the grandeur and the tales of royalty. We then hopped on a long-tail boat to get to our lunch spot, Eat Sight StoryEat Sight Story. Amazing food with a view of the Wat Arun temple. The kids were instantly hooked with the fusion of Thai and Italian dishes.

Post lunch was a trip to the Bangkok National MuseumBangkok National Museum for a dose of culture and history. The evening was spent at Asiatique The RiverfrontAsiatique The Riverfront where the kids enjoyed the giant ferris wheel while we shopped and enjoyed the riverside scenery.

Sunday was all about exploring the Chatuchak market. The kids were thrilled with the trinkets and toys and we managed to get some unique souvenirs. Lunch was at a cozy little place called On Lok YunOn Lok Yun. This place is a hidden gem with its old-school charm and incredible local dishes.

Post lunch, we headed to Lumphini ParkLumphini Park for some downtime. The kids ran around while we relaxed by the lake. A perfect end to an exciting weekend, if I may say so.

Once the kids were tucked in asleep, the hubby and I managed to sneak out for a little fun at the Vertigo and Moon BarVertigo and Moon Bar (it's worth the babysitter, trust me!).
