Calgary in a Crunch: A Weekend Wanderer's Guide

Discover Calgary's hidden gems, scrumptious eats, and vibrant culture in just 2.5 days.

By Jordan Davis

Hey there, fellow wanderers! Let me tell you about the time my bae and I explored Calgary in just 2.5 days. Buckle up, it's gonna be a wild ride!

We landed in Calgary Friday night and headed straight to our hotel, Hotel Arts. Trendy, affordable, and smack-dab in the heart of the city, it was the perfect base for our weekend.

For dinner, we hopped over to Ten Foot Henry, a veggie-focused spot with some of the tastiest dishes we've ever tried.

Saturday began with a caffeine boost from Philosafy, where the latte art is as impressive as the coffee. Then, we headed to Prince's Island Park for a morning jog - a beautiful, scenic spot right in the city.

We explored Calgary Zoo and the Glenbow Museum in the afternoon. For dinner, The River Café tickled our fancy with its farm-to-table menu and romantic ambience.

Sunday called for brunch at OEB Breakfast Co., followed by a leisurely stroll around the Peace Bridge. We ended our weekend with a visit to the National Music Centre. Trust me, music lovers, it's a must-visit!

And just like that, our 2.5-day whirl around Calgary was over. Short, but oh so sweet!
